Undergraduate students in CMES can major in Earth Science
Education or Geology. Geology majors can select a concentration in
Paleobiology or Coastal and Marine Geoscience. Students can also
major in Environmental Science, a collaborative degree program.
Housed in the Department of Geography, the Environmental Science
program is offered jointly by CMES, and the departments of
Geological Sciences, Geography and Biological Sciences. Students
majoring in Environmental Science can select from several
concentrations including the Geological Environment or the Marine
Environment.
Students interested in studying the Earth and Ocean may also
choose to minor in Marine Studies, Geology, or Coastal and Marine
Geoscience.
